September is my birth month, and I have recently celebrated my 59th journey around the sun. I am excited to see what this year holds for me. I love September. It has always felt like the New Year - a birthday, the end of summer, back to school, and that feeling that it’s time to get things done after a few months of “vacation time.” This energy of endings and beginnings is what the numerology of 9 is all about.
Today is September 9th - the 9.9 Portal Day, when the energy of completion is amplified and we are invited to step into something new. And the New Moon follows right behind it to further support this theme. With all the life changes I have experienced leading up to this month, I am definitely resonating with it all.
As I have settled into my new life, it feels like I have been in between the 9s of 9.9, as if I have been balancing on the period, quietly letting go of old patterns and beliefs and getting ready to leap into whatever my soul has planned for me next. The first 9 being completion, and the second opening a door to something new and exciting.
I have seen this pattern in clients, friends and family, as many are experiencing endings and beginnings or feel suspended somewhere in between. If that resonates for you, remember that the place in between is giving you time to breathe, reflect and surrender.
The question I have been guided to share today is:
“What needs to be completed before I can fully open the next door?”
Sit quietly with that and see what answers appear. It could be something small or unexpected, or it could be something that you are very aware of but just haven’t had the strength or courage to face.
Whatever it is, know that it’s possible to take a first step and it doesn’t have to happen overnight. Awareness and intention are powerful and can let the light in just enough to see the next step on the path ahead.
